Do you remember the very first time that you met your best friend? Take a second to reminisce and  look back at that quick moment in time where you accidentally stumbled them; You never would've imagined that they would make such a positive impact on your life.

Think about the exact place that you met, how old you were and what you had on that day. Do you remember your first introductions? What about that defining moment when you realized this person was worthy of being called something a little more special than a "friend"...Perhaps, they motivated you, comforted you during a time a need or was able to lend an ear when you needed someone to just listen.

Personally, most of my best friends and I are seemingly odd pairs just like the fox and the hound, but we always have a number of similarities bring us together. Do me a favor, take a moment today to celebrate your best friends and the blessing that they have been to your life.

Man, oh man, how I have missed blogging and each of you, my amazing readers. Life has been incredibly busy lately with no signs of slowing down. So, I did what we must all do at some point. I had to force myself to just stop, take a breath, and do something that makes me happy.

This action made me realize that we should never create excuses that enable us to avoid the very things that make us happy. And, I have decided to embark on a journey to re-adopt some actions back into my life that made me happy like reading for leisure, cooking, and vintage jewelry hunting. Do you have something that you used to enjoy doing that somewhere along the lines fell through the cracks? Feel free to share.
